Wheel Style offers tailored one-to-one sessions Skills Workshops fun, inclusive sessions for all abilities and designed to empower riders of all ages. Our one hour BMX Flatland coaching delivers pro-level guidance from a UK BMX champions, teaching balance, control, and freestyle creativity. Bicycle Abilities sessions build confidence through fun challenges like cone weaving and limbo ducking, helping riders master fun cycling skills. In our Bike Fix workshops, participants learn essential maintenance tyre checks, puncture repair, brake adjustments gaining independence and practical know-how. For younger riders, Balance Bike workshops provide a playful introduction to cycling, focusing on coordination and confidence. Each session is personalised, engaging, and designed to inspire lifelong riding.

Balance Bike

Wheel Style’s balance bike coaching gives young riders the perfect start to cycling. Through fun games and guided practice, children learn balance, coordination, and control while building confidence on two wheels. Activities include playful challenges like weaving through cones, ducking under limbo poles, and “don’t touch the floor” exercises all designed to make learning safe, exciting, and rewarding.

Bike Fix

Learn to keep your bike safe and ready to ride . Wheel Style’s one-to-one sessions teach essential skills like tyre checks, puncture repair, brake and chain adjustments, and basic cleaning. Fun challenges such as timed wheel removals and “spot the fault” make learning engaging. Teaching important and valuable skills needed in fixing and maintaining your bike.

Skate Park Coaching Session

Wheel Style’s Skatepark Sessions bring BMX riding into the exciting setting of a skatepark. Guided by our experienced coach, each session is tailored to ability, focusing on confidence, safety, and fun. Riders learn fundamental maneuvers like balance control, pumping transitions, carving lines, manuals, and bunny hops, while exploring ramps, banks, and bowls to develop flow and rhythm.

Safety and park etiquette are built into every lesson, alongside creative challenges such as obstacle runs, team games, and skill‑building drills. These interactive activities keep sessions lively, social, and inclusive, ensuring every rider feels supported.

Bicycle Abilities

Wheel Style’s one-to-one sessions give each rider focused, personalised support. With expert guidance, participants build confidence and independence while mastering safe cycling skills.

Activities include cone weaving for steering, limbo pole ducking for balance, and the don’t touch the floor game for control. Riders also practice precision stops and starts, learning accuracy and awareness.

Every challenge is tailored to the rider’s pace, creating a supportive environment where progress feels natural and rewarding. The goal is not just to ride, but to ride with skill, confidence, and joy equipping young cyclists with abilities they can use every day.

BMX Flatland

Train with pro BMX athlete Yinka Thomas, UK’s 2nd place BMX Flatland UCI Champion. With 18 years of experience, Yinka delivers personalised coaching to help riders master balance, control, and freestyle creativity.

Sessions feature tailored challenges like limbo pole ducking, cone weaving, and freestyle trick practice building confidence, resilience, and technical skill step by step. Each rider gets focused attention, progressing at their own pace while learning the artistry of BMX Flatland.

Full Day Coaching

Wheel Style’s Full Day Coaching is an immersive 5‑hour experience designed to take riders deeper into the world of BMX. With refreshments provided throughout the day, participants enjoy a balance of focused training, fun challenges, and plenty of time to practice in the skatepark or flatland area.

Our coach tailors the program to each rider’s level, starting with core skills like balance, pumping, carving, manuals, and bunny hops. As confidence grows, riders progress transitions, learning flow, rhythm, and creative lines.

​To keep energy high, sessions include skill circuits, trick progression workshops, obstacle challenges, and team games that encourage collaboration and friendly competition. Riders also benefit from guided practice, safety tips, and one‑to‑one feedback to refine technique.

Wheel Style’s Full Day Coaching isn’t just training it’s an exciting journey of skill, community, and BMX empowerment.
